Here at Worlds Greatest TV, we're all about dissecting things to oblivion. That could be the way in which we create a segment, or the way we watch and analyze sports. It all boils down to science...and cost!

Take the Michigan vs. Western Michigan game this past Saturday. Let's face facts. I don't care who you are or what you say; the clock read 0:00, time had completely expired with the first Hail Mary, and Western Michigan won that game. It may not reflect that way in the record books, but it happened. But, as we mentioned, in the record books, it shows a Michigan victory. But at what cost? At this point, if I'm Michigan, I'm embarrassed. I have egg on my face. I'm ashamed. I, once again, lost to a much weaker school (remember when Michigan lost to Appalachian State on opening day years ago?). No matter the outcome, Western Michigan walks away with a great amount of money, but they should walk away with something else...a sense of pride and accomplishment. Defeating Michigan is no small feat, especially in The Big House, and yet, they did exactly that.

So at what cost did Michigan technically "win"? Loss of pride and a true embarrassment.
