Habersham started in the small North Georgia town of Clarksville in 1969, when Joyce Eddy operated a small antique shop located above an old Laundromat. Looking for ways to make her business more profitable, she began crafting small, decorative purses from vintage wooden cigar boxes. They were unique and an instant hint. The ideas kept coming and Joyce started crafting candleholders, towel racks and folk art items. With the help of her sons, they added handcrafted furniture. As the business grew, their reputation for fine art furniture design grew as well. Custom kitchen, bath, and other cabinetry designs are part of their product offerings as well.
